关于谷歌的 FCM 推送有个小问题

我看官方的说明：

向任意设备发送消息
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) 可在您的服务器与用户设备之间建立可靠而且省电的连接，让您能够在 iOS 、Android 和 Web 应用中免费发送和接收消息及通知。

对于 iOS 和 Android 比较熟悉，知道怎么回事。但是对于 web ，一直就不清楚它是怎么搞的啊。自己建立一个到 FCM 服务器的 websocket ？还是用 Service Work ？必须使用 Google 的浏览器么？自己能配置服务器么？
